You want the belt. Championship path fighters are entered into the ranked system from day one. Every bout affects your ranking. Win consistently and you climb toward a title shot. Mandatory defenses required once you hold a belt. You don't get to sit on it.

Championship path fighters enter the live rankings system. Your record is public from fight one.

Event Access
Registered fighters receive no-cost access to all EDG Boxing events as participants for the registration year.
How purses work: The commission sets a total purse for each bout based on tier. The winner receives 60–70% and the loser receives 30–40%. KO/TKO bonuses are added on top of the base win purse when applicable. Purse amounts are confidential — fighters receive payment directly. No public disclosure of individual earnings.
STEP 05
THE CODE — NON-NEGOTIABLE
NO DUCKING POLICY
Championship path fighters ranked within 5 positions of each other must accept a sanctioned matchup within 21 days of being contacted. Repeated declinations result in forced ranking penalty. There is no "protecting the record" here.
MANDATORY COOL-OFF
Proving Ground & Intermediate: 30 days minimum between bouts. Expert: 45 days minimum. No exceptions. Not negotiable. Medical clearance required before return, regardless of cool-off period.
MEDICAL CLEARANCE
Any fighter who sustains a KO or TKO loss receives a mandatory 60-day medical suspension. Any fighter who suffers a standing 8-count receives a 30-day suspension regardless of the final result.
WEIGHT CLASS INTEGRITY
Fighters register at a declared weight class. You must make weight within 3 lbs on fight day. Hydration-cut style manipulation (drastic same-day rehydration) is grounds for immediate suspension.
SIX-BOUT ANNUAL MAXIMUM
No fighter may compete in more than 6 sanctioned bouts per calendar year. This applies to all tiers, all paths. Activity is rewarded — but fighter health and longevity come first.
RESULTS ARE FINAL
All results are logged by the commission post-fight and signed off by both corners. Disputes must be filed within 48 hours of the final bout result being posted. The commission decision is binding.
